Dr. Victor Hugo Paltsits (1867-1952), archivist and librarian, was head of the Manuscripts Division of the New York Public Library from 1895-1941. Albert L. Diebolt was an instructor at the State Normal School of Plattsburgh, New York, who was involved in a deadly automobile collision with a truck belonging to the United States Army.
